Antonin Michael of Ebersbach

Antonín Michael of Ebesbach was commissioned to produce the Elixir of youth for William of Rosenberg and worked as a regent of the Rosenberg mines. It is said that he had significant influence over the mighty Rosenberg and the city council. He is the original owner of this house, which he had very costly reconstructed. In the house he employed alchemists and allegedly performed magic and tried to get evil spirits to do his bidding. The legend says that his spirit appears in the house, laments, and mumbles magic formulas. In this room, A. Michael of Ebersbach really performed magic. The decoration of the room really evokes the mystery of the secretive alchemist. The entrance hall separates the bedroom door from the main corridor. The room is situated at the lift on the second floor. The room overlooks the Široká Street which allows for a view of the castle tower and the tower of the St. Vitus Church. The bathroom has a large bathtub and shelves for beauty products, light marble tiles and flooring, two sinks, a toilet and a heated floor. People around Český Krumlov say that this is one of those houses where paranormal phenomena occurring frequently.
